Social Inclusion Awareness Week 2012
Social Inclusion Awareness Week 2012 took place from 15th – 21st October.
Social Inclusion Awareness Week is a great opportunity to highlight the work taking place in County Galway that tries to improve the quality of life for all. Nearly 35 events and activities are taking place around the County to celebrate the week.
The week was officially launched at 10.00am on Monday 15th October 2012 in the Clann Family Resource Centre in Oughterard. This was also the launch of the 'Out and Proud' Road Show. The bus then visited towns in County Galway, creating awareness of LGBT issues and providing information about supports and services that are available.
