‘fixyourstreet’ facilitates the reporting of non emergency issues concerning street lighting, drainage, graffiti, illegal dumping, and road and footpath maintenance to Comhairle Chontae na Gaillimhe/Galway County Council. The publicly accessible website also allows citizens to monitor the response and interact with the Council on the issue reported through the system.

Structures at Risk Fund-2013

Local Property Tax
An annual self-assessed Local Property Tax (LPT) charged on the market value of all residential properties in the State will come into effect from 1 July 2013. Gum Litter Taskforce 2013
Incorrect disposal of chewing gum is a significant issue for many local authorities. It is an important and emotive issue for local residents as carelessly discarded gum can be costly to remove. Promoting a behaviour change among gum droppers through local campaigns helps create a cleaner, more attractive local area that residents, visitors and businesses can enjoy. This website introduces the Gum Litter Taskforce and explains how we are making this behaviour change happen, as well as giving you the opportunity to get involved with the campaign.
